Clinical placement involved:Inpatients (surgical): Neuro, vascular and gastrointestinal surgery. Outpatients: Gestational Diabetes clinic

Food service placement. Project included a report and presentation based on recommendations for improvements through auditing the completion and adequacy of malnutrition screening on wards using the malnutrition universal screening tool (MUST) and the communication between the wards and the kitchen. An audit was also conducted on the adequacy and provision of high energy, high protein diet compared with South Australian standards.
