Supporting Sky across Sky Sports and Entertainment which includes Sky 1, Sky Alantic and Sky Living. Working with Line Managers to effectively manage all aspects of employee relations, such as: training, performance management, disciplinary, re-structure, redundancy, grievance and absence. Ability to build effective relationships at all levels. I enjoy the challenge of getting to know my business areas, challenging managers and developing best practice. Coaching and advising management and supporting the development of management skills and capability. Work closely with our HR Centres of Excellence (Recruitment, Talent Development, Legal etc.) to deliver group wide programmes and achieve shared HR goals.

Co-ordinating the operations of a Pre-employment Training provision; which included acting as first point of contact for Job Centre Plus advisers and their customers throughout the whole training. Which included, liaising directly with JCP or candidates to organise interviews, initial assessments and start dates. Whilst collating records of documentations to ensure correct funding is being allocated.As well as, organising and acting as a liaison between employers, students and curriculum teams to make sure that students are allocated work placements which are appropriate and comply with H&S regulations and equal opportunities according to policies and procedures.

Working within a project to organise Transfer’s of Undertakings Protection of Employment (TUPE Transfers) and referencing future employees to a BAA standard. This role included organising and issuing ID’s, creating employee personal files and alerting management of any issues which may occur and resolving them. Liaising with the BAA with confidential information such as CRC details. Also liaising with internal line managers from the acquired company to ensure the smooth transfer and dealing with any issues. Liaising with external companies worldwide for referencing purposes for future candidates; which includes dealing with any integrity questions and sensitive information.
