I am responsible for the charities yearly calendar of medical courses, meetings and workshops across the UK, and their local fundraising events. This includes budget planning, designing and implementing marketing schedules, liaison and relationship building with corporate sponsors and venues, as well as management of staff, volunteers and arrangements on the event day.

I was responsible for the charities yearly fundraising events calendar, their community plan, plus the management and upkeep of their database. The fundraising events role encompassed many of the responsibilities that my current role has, but excluding the surgical courses and events. Within the community role I worked hard to raise awareness by attending various networking events and assisting with social media and other online platforms.

This role ranges from customer service over the phone, via email and face to face, to supporting the community, corporate and events fundraisers.I deal with the incoming and outgoing post and my team codes all donations that are then imported onto donor flex. I also import mass donations from reports off Just giving and Virgin Giving plus our own Naomi House website every week.My team and I are also responsible for building relationships with supporters and have to make regular decisions to make sure these relationships are passed to the appropriate person in fundraising and that the supporter gets the help and advise they need.I also assist the events fundraiser once a week and I am/ have been heavily involved with the organising of mass participant and running/marathon events. This includes marketing and advertising in the run up, along with taking charge of various groups of volunteers on the day.

During this time I helped with the organisation of various mass participant events, including the Naomi House flag ship event, The Clarendon Way Walk.
