• Utilize machine learning to develop an artificial intelligence program with U-Net for mapping grain boundaries of metallic thin films and other materials• Hand-trace grain contours of film samples scanned in the Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM); these tracings then act as the model’s ground truth in autonomously generating its own tracings• One of only two undergraduate students chosen for selective Summer 2024 research team (full-time position during summer; part-time during academic year)

• Serve as a dedicated mentor for teams consisting of high school students from a wide span ofcountries and time zones (most recent team makeup: Sudan, India, Mexico, Jordan, and Ukraine) in the Junior Academy's Innovation Challenges, real-world problems involving the climate, public health, energy resources and more suggested by corporate sponsors• Mentor teams through both Fall and Spring Challenge periods, providing expert feedback on hypotheses, experiments, and final deliverables, teaching students the steps of the scientific method, and mediating any challenges in virtual collaboration• Hold synchronous meetings with team once a week and dedicate additional 1-2 hours per week to mentoring by responding to student questions, and offering detailed insights on project development

• Annually direct the Engineering Exploration Experience, a full-day immersive event that provides 300+ high school girls with the opportunity to engage with STEM through lectures by industry leaders, design challenges led by Columbia professors, and other hands-on workshops• Act as the lead point of communication with almost 200 different New York public schools, individually contact administrators to publicize the event, then lead email communication with all registered students and continue serving as a resource to them in navigating college applications• Create graphics for the event including an original logo combining STEM with our specific theme- 2024 was food (“A Taste of Engineering”)• Recruit 30+ volunteers for day of the event and create schedule outlining each of their responsibilities• Secure sponsor and grant funding as well as professional keynote guest speakers for event

• Taught customers in groups consisting of 2-30+ people how to throw axes, knives, throwing stars, and more• Carefully monitored customer sobriety (BYO establishment) and enforced safety policies including customer handling of weapons and retrieval of objects from wooden targets• Helped customers plan and decorate for celebrations including designing and spray painting custom targets to align with party theme• Personally competed on seasonal axe and knife throwing leagues: 6 point bulls-eye target, 10 throws/match (average score/throw on axes: 5.4; average score/round of three knife throws: 16.1)

• Conducted low-temperature condensed matter experimentation in the Applied Physics Graduate Department• Trained on the magnetic force microscope (MFM) and led liquid helium transfers• Developed MATLAB program to analyze and correct outlier data, “white spots,” in scans• First authored a peer-reviewed abstract that was selected for team’s final publication submission• Presented at the 2022 New Jersey Liberty Science Center (LSC) Symposium, was selected as student researcher speaker, and won poster contest

• Acted as second in command for costume designer serving the New Jersey/New York Metropolitan area including off-Broadway theatres such as Paper Mill Playhouse and regional high schools with award-winning programs• Costumed 2-4 shows per year• Took actors' measurements, designed and constructed costumes custom to their dimensions (32 total over duration of apprenticeship)• Led thrifting trips and upcycled, tailored, or deconstructed for fabric salvaging over 300 clothing items contributing at least 1000 costume pieces total• Compiled all measurements and show budgets into comprehensive spreadsheet on Excel and Google Sheets• Tracked budgets ($4,000 per show ± $2000) and researched purchases of fabrics, costumes rentals, and used clothing items
