Role involves driving BIOS and OS boot on emulation, debugging issues along the way, and coordinating with various firmware and design IP teams to find a solution quickly. My verification experience provides a unique approach to debugging issues because it allows for me to deep dive into the RTL while viewing waves of failures and focus in on issue. I also debug by diving into firmware code to understand where in the flow we are failing.

Worked in the Nonvolatile Memory Solutions group on the 3D-Xpoint Logic team specializing in ASIC pre-silicon validation utilizing UVM. Owned a variety of testbenches for different blocks and worked on the functional coverage team for the fullchip level ASIC and various blocks. This role involved coding drivers, monitors, scoreboards, coverage code and SystemVerilog Assertions as well as developing a variety of sequences to meet functional coverage goals of 100%.

Worked on the Advanced Verification team specializing in UVM and UVM Framework. Deployed this verification methodology on a variety of programs involving both space and airborne systems. Also gained experience with VHDL design and requirements tracing. The last 6 months in this role involved splitting time between verification and hardware sustainment. The hardware sustainment role involved debugging production level and customer return hardware modules which interfaced various electrical components such as FPGAs, ASICs and transceivers.
