Responsible for the overall management of the Orthopedic Service Line at NYP/Columbia and NYP/Weill Cornell Medical Centers. Lead and facilitated the development of the Service Line vision and strategic plan, served as a liaison between Orthopedic Department and NYP and facilitated alignment of operational and strategic priorities.

Worked closely with NYP and Weill Cornell and Columbia University Medical School senior leadership to ensure organizational readiness for changes in the political and economic environment. Provided project management, strategic, and analytic support to corporate senior management, clinical leadership, and service line administrators. Partnering with Orthopedic Service Line Administrator, co-managed NYP’s response to Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Comprehensive Joint Replacement Bundle programManaged Regional Hospital Network (RHN) integration planning process responding to acquisition of four community hospitalsCo-managed ‘Making Care Better’ initiative to bring evidence-based interventions to all inpatient units at NYP’s main campuses

Served as a resource to member institutions on legislative and industry developments affecting the NYC managed care market; provided analytic support and access to managed care and insurance data.
