Responsible for motivating and engaging a large team to deliver a quality product and a positive guest experience. Prioritized budgets, controlled labor and expenses, ensured compliance with policies/standard operating procedures (SOP).

Responsible for managing all culinary aspects in England for Busch Gardens Williamsburg. This includes a restaurant, specialty shops, and several kiosks. Recently opened the new Coke Market at BGW with three sleek new Freestyle machines. This new market will support the new show, London Rocks in England's Globe Theatre.

I am responsible for scheduling employees, ordering supplies, maintaining inventory. I am in charge of supervising multiple events per day including picnics, VIP dinners, and concert concessions. I also input and analyze menu item sales as well as revenue for each venue.

I have set up for events, served for major dinners, and bused tables.

In the last five years I have made schedules, managed multiple revenue cost centers, and worked on perfecting order management. While working in catering for Busch Gardens Williamsburg I managed events such as picnics, VIP dinners, catered to Green Rooms, and concert events.

Over a three month period I worked on an intern project involving a system called FOLIO. In short, the system would enable the guest to use a plastic wrist band that links to his or her credit card/cash. This way the guest would be less likely to loose their money as it would be attached to their wrist. Our group also thought it would be an innovative idea to add a feature that would let the guest link their various gift cards and vouchers to this wrist band. The project is still in its early stages however it was a great idea. The internship program helped me make many connections with other managers in different departments. It also taught me a great deal about the various departments of the company.
