During my time at award winning London hospitality design studio, AfroditiKrassa, I developed my hospitality industry knowledge greatly, as well as learning an abundance of design and administrative skills. Alongside the team, I worked on various projects at different design stages, as well as running their social media channels and managing the AKollection product sales and promotion. At Ian Smith Design, I aided the whole design team on various projects spanning high-end residential and hospitality spaces in Scotland, as well as preparing to launch their London showroom. Throughout my time with Ian Smith Design, I gained incredible insight into the interior design industry, as well as developing my knowledge of furniture and textile designers and adhering to budgets. Key responsibilities included:• Working with the design team on design schemes and spacial planning • Researching, sourcing and procurement of FF&E in line with strict budgets• Liasing with various contractors throughout the final stages of multiple projects• Undertaking visits to numerous sites during various design stages

At Roche Communications, a leading London hospitality PR agency, I worked across accounts including Drake and Morgan, Carluccio’s, Young’s and YO! Sushi, as well as independent establishments, including Michelin star winner Alimentum in Cambridge. The experience has given me an invaluable insight into the hospitality industry, corporate reputation and the importance of developing and maintaining a holistic brand identity, as well as enabling me to gain a solid understanding of the UK trade and consumer media landscape. Key responsibilities included:• Development and design of tailored proactive press releases and advertorials for different markets and audiences• Working with the graphics team creating strong brand identity• Preparation of targeted and thorough media lists and story sell-in, allowing me to build strong media contacts across a range of specialist sectors • Assisting with the development of PR proposals, using my creativity to input to brainstorms and being proactive in suggesting new ideas • Managing the social media accounts for a number of clients, to ensure all channels are fresh, engaging and responsive• Key point of contact for clients on a day-to-day basis, producing swift contact reports and status updates and providing the highest level of client care
