I am a highly motivated Senior Graphic Designer with over 14 years’ experience, 10 of which is at Senior Level. I currently work in Glasgow at GRAHAM, a construction company with an annual turnover of £1bn. In my role, I oversee all graphic design activities for the regional business, from generating and refining innovative ideas to managing and delivering creative and engaging projects for external Clients and our internal teams. I ensure designs are aligned and relevant to our Client’s preferences and brand, and I communicate with clients or internal team representatives to ensure their needs are met. I am comfortable with making decisions, taking responsibility as well as managing, leading and encouraging junior designers.In particular, I work closely with the Bid Team where I effectively manage all levels of production to ensure our tender submissions stand out and are designed to the highest standards – this includes designing response templates, creating infographics, board presentations and interview presentations. I also manage marketing materials such as brochures, social media posts, newsletters and posters. I am a creative and enthusiastic person with excellent communication and collaboration skills. I am self-motivated, with a good personality and a proactive approach that allows me to work well both in a team environment and on an individual level. I have a detailed knowledge and understanding of the graphic design industry and have the ability to adapt well in a range of sectors and across many forms of media to provide the best results in the work I do. I am highly skilled in using adobe suite and Microsoft office package using Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Word, Excel and Powerpoint on a daily basis and software packages such as VuCity. I use Skillshare to continuously improve my skillsets and as a means for self development.
