I managed all elements of our state-level fundraising efforts to support the growth of Action For Healthy Kids' programming to promote healthy living while fighting childhood obesity and undernourishment by helping kids across the country eat better, move more, and develop the lifelong habits necessary to promote health and learning. AFHK works with schools to fund projects that promote health education in targeted ways that make the greatest impact for their communities. I raised $1.6 million annually to support the following programs: Game On school grants, Breakfast for Healthy Kids, Every Kid Healthy Week, Parents for Healthy Kids. I executed all stages of the sales cycle: prospect research, cold and warm outreach, qualifying leads, pitching, grantwriting and proposal writing, closing, and stewarding donors. I grew our corporate partnerships and individual giving programs, including managing our new Auxiliary Board.

I managed all of our student philanthropy efforts, including our annual Senior Class Gift campaign which was ranked fourth in the nation for 2017 and second in the nation for 2016. I directed all aspects of the campaign, including recruitment, communications, marketing, budgeting, volunteer management, event management, training, and major giving giving. I developed UChicago's first student-to-alumni transition program, Welcome to Alumnihood, in 2016 and created a six-year strategic plan for student and young alumni giving. I also ran our Student Alumni Committee, an events-based student-alumni group hosting such cornerstone programs as Dinner with 12 Maroons and Philanthropy Week.
