After graduation, I was selected by the Dean's Office to continue my tenure as a First-Year Counselor through the Summer Peer Advisors program for my effectiveness and skill in the mentorship role during the year. I aided newly-accepted students from all over the world before they arrived on campus.

Selected out of senior class to serve as a mentor and advisor for first-year students as they navigate adjusting to rigorous college classes, extracurriculars, professional development, and interpersonal circumstances. Conducted group discussions and 1-on-1s to ensure ease of transition, and aided in fast-paced emergencies when they arose.

Citizens Thinkers Writers offers rising juniors and seniors from New Haven public schools a tuition-free opportunity to explore fundamental moral and political questions in a college setting. In small discussion seminars led by professors, they gain experience in close reading, analytic writing, and college-level discussion, along with support as they apply to college. The program gives preference to students who would be the first in their immediate families to graduate from a four-year college.

The Institution for Social and Policy Studies (ISPS) is Yale’s leading interdisciplinary research institution focused on the intersection of politics, policy, and social science. Through the Director’s Fellowship, the Domestic Policy Group provides Yale College students with sophisticated policy training and work experiences to bridge the gap between theory and practice in U.S. domestic policymaking.Director’s Fellows are selected from among the most promising Yale College students with a demonstrated interest in government, policy, and political work in the United States. Director’s Fellows graduate prepared to contribute to the policy discussions at the local, state, and federal levels in the United States, whether through continued academic research and writing, policy development and advocacy, or supporting the work of U.S. policymakers directly.

After my spring 2022 term internship, I quickly took on leadership positions within the district office beginning in the summer. I aided in training new interns, delegated tasks throughout the office, participated in fieldwork around all of New Haven, organized and led grant meetings with local non-profits and strategy groups, and most importantly, gained relationships with New Haven constituents as I aided in their congressional matters.

Worked on over 250 cases in my role within Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro's New Haven office while completing Yale coursework. Consistently handled communications with constituents about a range of issues, including immigration, education, housing, legal aid, and civil rights. Conducted research and drafted memos for Representative DeLauro that were eventually utilized for congressional decision-making. Being the first line of communication between local constituents and government, I provided support and resources quickly & effectively, often summarizing research and complicated policy measures at a moment's notice.

Common Good & Creative Careers (CGCC) supports Yale students interested in pursuing careers that make a difference and encourage their creativity. CGCC is dedicated to providing career advice for students interested in pursuing careers in Non-Profit organizations, Government, Education, Policy & Think Tanks, Arts, and Media & Communications.

Portrayed the leading role of Dorothy in Yale University's production of Broadway's "The Wiz", an adaptation of the original "Wonderful Wizard of Oz" with modern storytelling elements and use of R&B, soul, funk, and gospel. Created a safe community space on campus for BIPOC undergraduate students interested in theatre and the arts. Sold full houses to all four showings of the production.

The Center for Popular Democracy works to create equity, opportunity and a dynamic democracy in partnership with high-impact base-building organizations, organizing alliances, and progressive unions. CPD builds & strengthens the people's voice, takes bold action as a collective, and nurtures diverse alliances to envision wins for an innovative pro-worker, pro-immigrant, racial and economic justice agenda.
