Citizenship Tutoring (Cit Tut) at the Harvard University Institute of Politics is a public service program building a greater civic engagement throughout the Harvard community. The program is a partnership between the undergraduate program members at the IOP and Harvard Bridge, an adult training program open to all Harvard University staff and faculty. Every week our tutors meet with employees from various departments within the Harvard community, and recently Great Boston as well through the Open Door Immigration Services, to guide them through the citizenship application and study for the four components of the U.S. citizenship test: civics, speaking, reading, and writing

Harvard CIVICS is a joint Institute of Politics – Phillips Brooks House Association program that places motivated and service-minded undergraduates in 5th grade classrooms with the goal of empowering the next generation of engaged, informed, and active citizens. Program participants are driven to provide a meaningful civic education to a range of communities and socioeconomic backgrounds. The CIVICS program is fast growing and spread across 30 classrooms in the Cambridge and Boston Public School systems, in which members use a student-generated curriculum to engage students in topics of democratic governance, politics, current events, and civic engagement. In the fall, we cover the structure of federal government, elections, and media. In the spring we teach about rights, responsibilities, community engagement, civil rights, and leadership. We view teaching as a dialogue; our curriculum is interactive and involves skits, crafts, videos, audio recordings, games, and visual aids. Through this curriculum, CIVICS teachers give students the opportunity to identify problems they see in their communities, formulate solutions, and take an active role in their communities no matter their age.

Authored weekly reports about the state of sex trafficking, wildlife trafficking, and climate change-induced migration in Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the Republic of Congo.Evaluated training programs that aim to teach law enforcement how to best interview witnesses of human trafficking in Tanzania. Researched relevant case law for the IV Geneva Convention, Optional Protocol 1, and the Hague Convention as it relates to the Ukrainian War. Authored project proposals about alternative dispute resolution in Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.Researched gaps in data about the Ghanaian Judicial System. Created a spreadsheet analyzing trends in the US State Department's Trafficking In Person report for Tanzania from 2018-2023.

The ERA Centennial Convention is taking place July 21-22, 2023 in Seneca Falls, NY. The ERA Centennial Convention seeks to celebrate the women and queer people who have fought for the ERA for 100 years, advocate for the publication of the federal ERA, and launch the grassroots fight for a New York state-level ERA ballot initiative. - Plan and host workshops about: How the ERA Protects Reproductive Justice, How The ERA Protects LGBTQIA+ Rights, How to mobilize faith communities in support of the ERA.- Coordinate and lead the "ARISE" Interfaith Welcome Ceremony. - Craft and manage the agenda for the conference.- Conduct outreach to local high schools and colleges to attend the conference - Coordinate catering- Facilitate Columbia Law School ERA Project lecture series

Generation Ratify is the youth led movement supporting ratification of the ERAFiled an amicus brief for the United States District Court for the District of Columbia: COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA et al, vs DAVID S. FERRIERO.Founded the Equal Rights Cohort: https://www.generationratify.org/equal-rights-cohort I personally mentored 61 budding activists to phonebank, lobby, and textbank. I guided these cohort members as they contacted over 160,000 Texan Voters about the Senate primary race in their very first week of training. Since the launch of the program, we have contacted 1.07 million voters. Organized a lobbying day to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Generation Ratify. I trained 98 students to lobby and we met with 30 Congressional representatives. Authored a 138-page gender equality policy pack for the 117th Congress. Hosted a phone bank for H.R.7085 - The Ending Qualified Immunity Act. Organized mass phone banks and artistic demonstrations nationwide against the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the SCOTUS.Launched a national campaign to codify Roe vs. Wade into law in every state. This included lobbying campaigns in dozens of states to support the Roe Act, as well as a 6 part webinar series about assorted intersections of reproductive justice.Founded lobbying collective and judicial advocacy cohort.Coordinated a legislative town hall about the pieces of gender equality legislation Generation Ratify is endorsing.Identify candidates and races that are crucial to win for the success of the ERA on the national and state levels. Co-created InnovateX, an international 501 (c)(3) non-profit that aims to educate low income primary and secondary school students about entrepreneurship. Founded InnovateX’s mentorship incubator program which pairs entrepreneurial high school students with successful business owners. At the end of each session of the program, students with comprehensive business pitches will receive grant funding to start their businesses. I secured funding for the mentorship program through grants and fiscal sponsorship.Founded Project Finance: A national movement to pressure state Boards of Education to make financial literacy education more accessible to secondary school students. In our trial run, we are currently organizing mass testimonies in front of the Montgomery County Maryland Board of Education to advocate for a one semester financial literacy graduation requirement within MCPS.Established the entire leadership structure for the organization.Oversaw curriculum development for middle and elementary school after school programs.Founded InnovateX’s internship program, to pair high achieving, entrepreneurial teenagers with local businesses. Organized a 50 person lobbying day to Annapolis for gun control legislation.Co-Founded Moco Alumni Pairing Program in response to COVID-19 travel restrictions to pair current high school seniors with Moco High School Alumni attending the colleges they are interested in. The program is still active, has over 3000 users, and continues to connect students and alumni. Founder of #Mocoto100 initiative, organizing voter registration drives at every Montgomery County Public High School. Authoring an amicus brief for the Association for Educational Fairness v. Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), to defend affirmative action in MCPS middle school magnet program admissions. Organized canvassing efforts for progressive candidates in the 2019 Virginia state election.Organized virtual town halls to allow students to question Board of Education at Large Candidates.Coordinated a letter writing campaign to the Board of Education about a resolution on gun violence prevention and school safety.Hosted a panel with the Montgomery County Police Department and MCPS Board of Education to discuss the role that school resources officers play in the school to prison pipeline. Organized a countywide memorial to the Black Lives Matter Movement.

Developed Combating Hate Action Network (CHAN) curriculum and co-authored lessons. CHAN is an online learning environment that unites non for profit organizations from 10 different countries to strengthen their peacebuilding skills and pilot innovative projects that address hate speech and violence in their communities. Found community partners for the “Road to Equal Justice” initiative to empower citizens across the country to use media, technology, and data to accelerate and amplify efforts for racial justice.Developed student engagement strategy to expand the PeaceTech Lab to college campusesAnalyzed online hate speech to mitigate threat of on the ground violence in countries affected by violence. Develop Lexicons of hate speech for violence ridden countries.

Founded the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Summer Justice Institute, to educate teens about the history of racial and religious intolerance. I helped design the curriculum. The program educated approximately 40 students about the history of genocide, implicit biases, and combating digital terrorism.Founded the podcast and video game streaming sector of the Digital Terror and Hate Project.Researched digital extremism, identifying hate speech spread via Youtube, Instagram, and Twitter for the Digital Terror and Hate Project.Research was published and presented to major tech companies (Google, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Apple), human rights organizations (the Anti-Defamation League), the FBI, and international political entities (the United Nations, the World Jewish Congress, German Federal Parliament, and the National Congress of Chile).
