Bid Manager
CurrentResponsible for the progression and qualification of new business opportunities. Utilising technical bid management skills to ensure opportunities are well understood, qualified, and aligned with business strategy - increasing chances of success and high-quality outcomes for customers. Responsible for the management of end-to-end bid processes, working closely with internal and external specialists. Effective management of bid teams, including securing inputs from key stakeholders, involving sales, technical, finance, commercial, legal and marketing colleagues. Accountable for the management of the bid strategy and production process, from opportunity identification through to submission and follow-up.Accountable for effective delivery of the governance process for individual bids, working in partnership with wider bid teams. Deliver key stages of the bid process – e.g. creating bid budgets, production of bid kick-off sessions, delivering win strategy workshops, managing red reviews etc.Management and tracking of risks, bid calendars and budgets, and submission portals.
