Project involves examining the state of wastewater use and reuse in the Colorado River Compact States- Acquire data on recycled water use in the Colorado River Compact States, including POTW capacity, influent/effluent volumes, treatment levels, uses, and discharge locations- Communicate with NGOs, government agencies, and academic experts to collect and condense data- Examine and extract information from state and federally-issued permits, including Clean Water Act NPDES permits and fact sheets- Search and compare regulatory reporting data from the EPA’s ECHO database across states- Research existing and developing water recycling and reclamation regulation/policies in the West- Synthesize data and policy research into a comprehensive overview and recommendation report

Project aims to provide equitable greenspace access to underserved communities while restoring the ecological/hydrological integrity of the LA River watershed - Lead presentations throughout the year to nonprofit-organization stakeholders and class instructors, including proposal and results presentations- Coauthor deliverables, including a project proposal, literature review, and final report- Develop and administer public-opinion surveys regarding the project

- Oversee store functions such as cash handling, opening/closing, weekly scheduling, and annual staff reviews- Conduct candidate interviews and lead staff training in customer service positions- Update and draft store policies, manuals, and training procedures - Advise professionals in selection of medical and dental equipment- Communicate with vendors and professionals through written and verbal forms- Accomplish tasks under strict time scales in a fast-paced work environment

- Conduct policy research and draft policy proposals on topics including municipal fleet electrification and building codes- Complete regulatory reporting through CDP and ICLEI, including a greenhouse gas inventory- Conduct legal research and facilitate regulatory review of documents, including CEQA- Edit policies proposed to City Council, including a comprehensive climate action plan- Attend meetings and write synopses for City officials- Lead community outreach events and manage over 50 webpages- Develop professional relationships with NGOs, other departments, consultants, and City contractors
