I organized and taught workshops for students, faculty, and staff and planned and oversaw university-wide writing events. In this role, I assisted the Writing Center Director with tutor interviews, hiring, and ongoing training. I created original content for social media accounts, including Twitter, Facebook, and a WordPress site.

I was the instructor of record for College Writing and Advanced Writing in the Disciplines. I designed syllabi and course assignments, facilitated in-class writing and in-class discussion, and provided feedback and grades to student with a range of English proficiencies. As a writing program tutor, I worked one-on-one with undergraduate and graduate students on concerns ranging from brainstorming, organization, research, citation, and grammar.

Using mywconline software, I managed consultant schedules, including facilitating sick, vacation, and earned time. I managed client records and report forms.

I collaborated with the President and Director of Development on development strategy and conducted prospect research on potential supporters; wrote grant reports for individual, institutional, and governmental donors; mentored interns.

As a communications officer and web producer, I maintained websites and wrote original web content for Hasbro Children’s Hospital, Bradley Hospital, and The Miriam Hospital; wrote and edited copy for marketing materials (print, web, radio, and outdoor), brochures, newsletters, and development/event materials; maintained relationships with clients, including senior leadership, physicians, donors, and patients; and collaborated with marketing, media, and design teams.

I digitized the Society's paper records and organized the collection by assigning accession numbers.
