As a Principal Associate, I push the limits of what is possible for an individual to achieve in my role while acting as a strategic partner with a focus on improving technical bookkeeping knowledge and workflow efficiency of the greater Operations department. I am responsible for completing a higher volume of bookkeeping tasks with top-notch quality and for liaising between bookkeeping and engineering teams to develop new tools and efficiencies. I supported Operations Associates by completing high quality categorization of transactions. I was the founding member of this team and took on the challenge of completing this task for all clients efficiently. I was able to consistently and sustainability achieve high levels of output while managing workflow, mentoring, improving processes, owning projects, and consulting on other projects from different departments.Initiated and managed the categorization process, optimized workflows and created training materials to support consistent high-quality output.Conducted weekly team meetings to address challenges, share best practices, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.Developed and implemented strategies to streamline categorization processes, contributing to long-term improvements in team efficiency.

They also support in the development of new macros and bookkeeping processes to improve the efficient delivery of non-standard bookkeeping tasks

Accounting Support Associates support Operations Associates in the completion of non-standard, higher-complexity bookkeeping tasks. I supported Associates and answered their complex bookkeeping questions through Zoom and written responses. I contributed to my team by creating Keyboard Maestro macros, updating Confluence articles on our bookkeeping standards, and researching IRS guidelines for bookkeeping.

Completes a wide variety of bookkeeping reviews to ensure that clients receive a high quality bookkeeping service. Further, provides Accounting Associates (see previous role) with continuous feedback to improve the quality of review submissions and collaborates across teams. I contributed to the overall morale of my team by creating a team playlist and creating team social activities via Zoom. I also helped direct a company-wide Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion presentation for Earth Day 2022 which resulted in part by a call to action letter I wrote to executive management.

Managed a portfolio of over sixty small business owners, completed bookkeeping tasks in a timely manner, maintained excellent quality books month-to-month, consistently achieved ambitious targets, used judgment and experience in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
