Currently in charge of an under 10’s boys football team in my local area, coaching and managing them for around a year now, and have recently completed my level one football coaching badge. This has really helped my communication and organization skills to make sure both parents and the boys themselves are enjoying playing for the team.

My most recent employment involved working within a busy kitchen at Teal Farm Pub, I left my previous job for this as it showed attractive working hours. My main duties involved preparing food, upkeep of the kitchen and maintaining food health and safety standards. I was promoted to assistant chef whilst at the company, as the previous chef had left the company, I would definitely say I was thrown in at the deep end, and quickly had to learn the ropes of helping to run the kitchen, assisting with stock control, orders, deliveries and rotas, as well as running shifts with a kitchen team of around 4-5 people.

I worked with JD Wetherspoon for over a year. Working in Liverpool whilst studying at university and then I transferred to a pub in Chester Le Street when I moved back home. I was originally employed as kitchen staff, the pub in Liverpool was very fast paced as we made around 25K on food a week. As an associate it was my job to assist the chef, prepping food and making side orders. In this role I have learnt many things including stock control and health and safety aspects of the kitchen. After I had been working there for a year I decided to train on the bar to help further my progression within the company. I worked on the bar for over a year, working the till, taking food orders and making drinks and waiting tables.

I worked for Dominos Pizza as a delivery driver for a short time whilst at my first year at university, it helped me to get to know my surroundings more and make more friends in the area. My main duties involved boxing up orders and making sure each part of the order was correct and then taking the deliveries to the customers front door. This helped me gain vital personal skills as well as experience handling cash.
