Provide strategic leadership and functional guidance for workforce planning, including recruitment, talent management, and new business integrations across the UPMC Health Services Division. Plan, organize, and direct the recruitment and mobility practices and resources to supply the manpower needs of the nursing service line while partnering with customers and other human resource/recruitment leaders to enable achievement of UPMC’s goals and objectives. Assess and refine human resources strategies and practices that focus on enhancing employee engagement, talent acquisition and management, organizational development, and the integration of human resources across the organization. Manage all nursing and executive recruitment service delivery recruitment staff and responsible for achievement of system-wide recruitment metrics and goals. Act as a strategic partner to organizational leaders for continuous process improvement and employee relations. Help identify options and solutions to business challenges and workplace issues. Provide guidance to colleagues in the areas of employee engagement, recognition, recruitment, staff development, and performance coaching. Help to further identify and leverage talent across the organization and support the processes and systems that develop internal talent. In partnership with our HR Shared Services center of excellence executives, lead the HR integrations for Health Services Division mergers and acquisitions.
