About Lauren Achée (Mlis, Med)
I am a teacher-turned-librarian with a passion for information literacy, supporting youth and being an active member of my community. I have experience working with youth from 3-18 years old in both library and classroom settings and am knowledgable about youth development, literacy and youth program development. I am devoted to issues of social justice in library spaces, particularly around protecting everyone's right to access to information and to feel safe, comfortable, and represented in the library. A natural researcher, much of my personal time is spent trying to answer every question I think of, and reading way too many Wikipedia articles.
