On-call machinist during secondments.Secondments: 1) ANSTO's Australian Centre of Neutron Scattering (ACNS) - Mechanical Technician experience - Feb 2022 to Jul 2022 (6 Month Secondment)▪️Maintenance support for the scientific instruments within ACNS, including mechanical shutdown periods. Overall, the role consists of fitting, manual machining, fabricating and CNC machining mechanical parts to assist building and repairing ACN's scientific instruments for research purposes. Mentored and supervised by Senior Mechanical Technicians. Requested by upper management to continue work with ACN's Operations team for shutdowns after secondment was completed.2) ANSTO's Drafting Office - Mechanical Draftsperson experience - July 2022 to February 2023 - 6 Month Secondment. Continued assisting 1 day per week from Febuary 2023 - August 2023.▪️Drafting with SolidWorks, assisting design on mechanical parts, assemblies and drawings. Assisted with projects such as HIFAR Decommission, SyMo, General equipment for OPAL, Fusion 360 CNC Network, Gentech and AME Fabrication drawings, mentored by Senior Mechanical Drafters.
