Lauren has over fifteen years experience in consumer technology, FDA regulated industries, and supply chain. She previously worked at Sony Electronics, US leading Strategic Operations and Product where she launched 4k and Hi Res Audio, while driving efficiency gains in supply chain, finance, and IT. At DJO she launched a direct to patient medical product platform and transformed their global device supply chain, which resulted in the company’s acquisition. Ms. Avenius is a member of Global Shapers, a World Economic Forum Initiative, helping to bring forward technologies that help humanity, and is a founding member of City of Angels Leadership Collective, an organization supporting women empowerment and business development. She also serves on the Advisory Board for Alliance4Empowerment, an not-for-profit fighting human trafficking and domestic abuse through economic empowerment.
