Leading the Global Events Team in San Francisco my team is responsible for managing Bloomberg Marketing Events in the Western United States and Canada. Our team focuses on Marketing Events for Corporate Philanthropy, Media & News, Diversity & Inclusion, Recruiting, Engineering, Employee Engagement, and Financial Solutions for both internal and external audiences.I am a San Francisco Bloomberg Latinx Community Co-Leader, and a member of the San Francisco Office Committee.

I partner across Marketing, internal stakeholders, sponsors, and business units to deliver virtual, hybrid and in person events across Bloomberg's business verticals. I manage the creative process, including invites, event production, audio visual requirements, speaker management, overall logistics and post event administration. I lead projects with multiple stakeholders (across different geos and businesses) and teams from inception to delivery.

I plan and execute sales and marketing event programs for assigned business units within the Bay Area. I leverage Bloomberg-specific event execution tools, programs and infrastructure to deliver events, and implement event processes, standards and measurements across all events. I prepare and comply with event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure payments & reconciliations take place in a timely manner.

I establish and maintain strong working relationships with recruiters, interviewers, candidates and HR. I serve as primary point of contact for candidates in all stages of the Salesforce.com interview process. I support five+ recruiters, coordinating phone and on-site interviews. I manage candidate on-boarding processes by drafting and administering offer letters through DocuSign, initiating background checks, and communicating with the HR department in order to meet urgent and time-sensitive deadlines.

I source, screen, hire, and retain qualified healthcare professionals to meet the needs in local facilities. I have the opportunity to develop relationships with clients and referral sources to determine open needs, and successful placements. I am responsible for building a network of qualified candidates, evaluating skills in relation to the position requirements, negotiating compensation, overseeing the completion of onboarding requirements, and managing active caregivers.
