As part of the Wheatstone project, Chevron Australia (CAPL) and the Western Australian Government (Department of State Development (DSD)) executed an agreement, Ashburton North State Development Agreement (Wheatstone Project) (SDA) that required CAPL, amongst other things, to develop and execute a project that will increase potable water supply to the town of Onslow by 2ML/day. In accordance with the SDA, the project will be handed-over to the Water Corporation for ongoing ownership and operation post completion of the work. The scope of the Onslow Water Infrastructure Upgrade ProjectMy role involved the Project Management of a cross-functional, multi-disciplined Owner’s team (including project engineering, commercial, contracts, project controls, construction and logistics, environmental, government approvals, land tenure, Health and Safety, document control and information management internal subject matter experts and several external consultants) with accountability for delivering the OWIUP through the first four (4) phases of Chevron Project Development & Execution Process (CPDEP); Chevron’s core process for project management: - Phase 1: Identify & Assess Opportunities (business case) - Phase 2: Generate & Select Alternatives - Phase 3: Develop Preferred Alternative; and - Phase 4: Execute.
