I was part of the small team ensuring that those clients with bespoke payment plans via IBMs captive finance company could retain their payment facilities after spin where Kyndryl would not have a captive finance company. This entailed working across client teams, clients, legal, accounting , tax and external funders/investors etc to ensure contracts migrated with terms that would allow Kyndryl to service these agreements seamlessly via external funders. Once Kyndryl established I was responsible for the acitivities of the Kyndryl Capital Solutions team in the Nordics, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Ireland.I won the largest new Financing agreement with a large German client that the Kyndryl Capital Solutions team has had Worldwide. This was a complex negotiation both within Kyndryl to deliver the offering to the client and with the client to meet their requirements.I also established the first, and so far only, longer term financing agreement with a client with a large bank in Germany which again required to have multiple functions in Kyndryl, in the client and with our external funder to provide an agreement that was acceptable to the various functions in each of these stakeholders.When Kyndryl decided to start leasing IT equipment from OEMs then I created this capability in my countries , again dealing across Kyndryl functions and external investors and suppliers to have paper that was acceptable to all. This created the ability for Kyndryl to lease in a disciplined and competitive manner in a short time frame - something they had never had before and which IBM had never been able to achieve outside of the US. Running projects to increase IBM financing business through the Business Partner channel in Europe across product and country organisations.

Work with IBM Distributors across Europe to ensure congruence between their financial model on their IBM business and IBM's programs, incentives and back-office processes to grow business and lower cost of doing business together.

CFO for Lenovo services business in terms of warranty provision on Lenovo hardware, as well as managing growth of Lenovo revenue-generating Services business. Responsibility in Mature Group covers North America, Western Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
