Liaise with the Senior Vice President of CQE and Line of Business Leads throughout our North America, Europe, and Asia regions on a frequent basis to ensure the short-term targets are met to safeguard the long-term goals of the department. Saved organization approximately $2MM from vendor overcharging during tenure in this role.

Charged with managing the finance area within the Validation Management and Shared Services (VMSS) department while providing leadership, guidance, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and processes and controls expertise. Liaise with the Director of VMSS and Line of Business Leads throughout our North America, Europe, and Asia regions on a frequent basis to ensure the short-term targets are met to safeguard the long-term goals of the department. - Manage the $50M+ budget as the sole finance resource for the application testing department, Validation Management & Shared Services consisting of eight line of businesses - Run bi-weekly meetings with each of the line of business leads to review YTD results and expense and headcount forecast projections - Review annual Statement of Work contracts (SOW) submitted by our vendor partners to ensure the language is structured fairly and in the best interest of the company - Delivered various processes and controls that refined the way headcount and forecasting projections are made which eliminated inefficiencies and double work - Perform invoice review for each line of business area to ensure the expenses paid are legitimate and in line of work completed; discovered numerous discrepancies saving the organization several hundred thousand within my first 90 days

Teamed with the Cost Allocation division within the Financial Planning & Analysis group. Tasked with developing and providing monthly Excel models consisting of Unit Cost, Cost Allocation, and Deferred Acquisition Costs amongst various other analyses for our business development and actuarial clients; partner with upper and senior management regularly on multiple projects. Responsible for developing monthly and quarterly forecasts and annual budget results on the aforementioned cost allocation processes.
