I have achieved Chartered Engineering status, a PhD in advanced mechanics of materials and computational modelling and a First Class Masters Degree (DIS) with Honours in Mechanical Engineering. I have proven that I'm a highly versatile, competent, and confident individual who has and will continue to apply myself to any situation and team to the best of my ability. I’ve also had excellent opportunities for detailed planning, negotiating, and networking via international collaborations, as well as direct and efficient problem solving and decision making all driven from my own initiative and tenacity during my various roles. My diverse experience has allowed me to gain great self-awareness and take great pride in my work, I’m always looking to learn and continuously improve and expand my skill set to develop myself as an engineer to ensure I remain a valuable asset in any team. I also take great pleasure in supporting those around me both personally and professionally, whether this is mentoring students, supporting my colleagues or as a line manager.
