He was appointed CEO in 2014. In 2015 Hoya Corp announced a strategic investment in the company. Earlier as COO, he was responsible for the design & manufacture of the company’s clinical device. As Medical Director he led the clinical studies leading to efficacious outcomes published in peer reviewed case reports. He is the technology lead co-innovator. From 2003 to 2007 he was the Director of Medical Research & Product Development at a small cap public medical device company.Earlier in his career, Dr. Marsteller was employed at the University of Arizona Dept. of Radiation Oncology working in the NIH sponsored development of novel brachytherapy devices.Dr. Marsteller has clinical healthcare experience as a Board Certified physician. Additionally, he served as a member of the Medical Executive Committee of Ascension Health/Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital. Dr. Marsteller was Chairman of the hospital network's Institutional Review Board (IRB).He began his career as an Investment Banking analyst at Lehman Brothers, followed by Morgan Stanley and Co. Equities Dept., both in NYC; and First Interstate Bank AZ (FIAZ, now Wells Fargo) Corporate Planning Department.Dr. Marsteller attended the Yale School of Management graduate program in Technology Policy and Management. Dr. Marsteller received his MD and residency training from The University of Arizona. His training in physics encompasses a MSc in Astrophysics from Yale University; study of Theoretical Physics at the University of Kent, Canterbury (UK), and a BSc in Physics from Georgetown University.
