I Co-Founded Rail Door Solutions in 1999. Rail Door Solutions maintained and overhauled door system components in the passenger rolling stock industry. RDS worked with many of the UK's train operating companies, train manufacturers, and ROSCO's.It was Rail Door Solutions' growth and success that led to us establishing The TXM Group.Rail Door Solutions was sold to Schaltbau of Germany.

As General Manager I oversaw 40 staff and the manufacturing of train door systems for 5 years. 95% of our business was export and we supplied America, South Africa, Malaysia and Taiwan. The knowledge I gained about train doors set me up perfectly to launch Rail Door Solutions which in turn led to me establishing The TXM Group.

This was a small business venture incorporating the project management and delivery of building interiors of offices. It was a fun time and a fantastic business owner experience whig has stood me in good stead to this day. It taught me a lot about managing people and cash-flow.

BWP manufactured automotive cabling. My role was to monitor and maintain the quality of the machine components for the manufacture of automotive components.

This was the first time in my life someone had empowered me to get the job done and I thrived on the responsibility. The role involved both engineering and expediting skills.
