When I used to be HR VP, I was bothered by the fact I was asked to manage resources. We are not resources, we are people. In 2010, in charge of HR in a civil agency (BE Ministry of Social Security), I changed my job title into Chief Happiness Officer. My target was to nail Happiness at Work to Sustainable Performance. Happy people perform better. Happy workers make Happy Customers who make Happy Shareholders. It's a win / win / win framework. As founder of Happyformance and LoftOffiz, my job is now to lead a wonderful team who gives support to people, teams and organisations to better perform through agile organisations, advanced workplaces (#nwow), cocreation, innovative leadership concepts and efficient HR strategies. We believe in a business world where Happiness at Work leverages Sustainable Performance.
