In my work with successful entrepreneurs and business owners, I've found that being thoughtful, strategic, and thorough with estate and tax planning can be just as valuable as strong investment performance. But I'm also very proud of what we at Summit Trail Advisors offer in terms of investment advice and products. I form close relationships with my clients, who consider me their go-to person for all things financial, because even if I'm not the right person to solve the challenge, I will work side by side with whoever it is. It gives me great pleasure to know that my clients' minds are at ease with respect to those parts of their lives that have a financial aspect to them, so that they can spend their time on more fun or productive ventures -- whether it's the next start up or a greater commitment to volunteering or endless travels.Outside of work, I'm a bit of a history junky and love the arts (fine, craft, performance, etc). When I moved "home" to Boston after 12 years in San Francisco, I traded a world-class opera company, bountiful local produce, and gorgeous terrain for proximity to family, Red Sox Nation, and more history than I could digest in my lifetime. Not a bad deal. I live in dynamic, charming Harvard Square with my husband and our two young daughters and am actively involved in the community.
