As the Vice President of Member Development, or Standards, I am responsible for upholding the values and principles of Alpha Delta Pi; assumes responsibility for empowering members to hold each other accountable for their actions. A part of the Executive Board, serves as the chair of the Member Development Council, which is composed of the Vice President of Member Development, Chapter President, and an advisor, and holds standards council meetings with members as needed. In my role, I conduct formal hearing's when members violate the Standards Code, coordinate and administer any chapter positive point system, presenting any proposed changes to the system to the Executive Board for approval and then to the chapter for a vote, and reviews excuses with my team and jointly determines if the excuses are allowed as specified in the Chapter Bylaws.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office will advance an effective, ethical, and raciallyequitable system of justice that protects the community, restores victims of crime, and honorsthe rights of the accused. As as an intern, I assisted the attorney's by delivering case packets, transcribing police body camera footage, preforming various clerical duties, organizing the office space, and filing cases. I was able to observe both criminal and civil trials and sat in on depositions and attorney-client meetings. I greatly enjoyed the opprtonity to learn about our legal system, specifically the daily duties of a prosecuter.
