Presented project, "Surgery Improves Social Function of Older Adult Spinal Deformity (ASD) Patients," at the 2024 UHN STAR Research Day. Presented the group's preliminary project at the monthly meeting for the Prospective Evaluation of Elderly Deformity Surgery (PEEDS) Study, AO Spine Knowledge Forum (KF) Deformity.

Gained invaluable insight into various orthopaedic procedures as an operating room observer. - Scoliosis Correction: Observed a 7-hour full scoliosis correction surgery, acquiring in-depth knowledge of the complex techniques involved in adult spinal deformity (ASD) treatment. Provided with a comprehensive understanding of the preoperative assessments, surgical approaches, perioperative care, and long-term post-operative management of patients undergoing scoliosis correction. - Knee Replacements: Observed numerous total knee arthroplasty procedures, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of the procedure and overall patient care process. - Knee Arthroscopy: Observed minimally invasive knee arthroscopy procedures, learning about the indication of surgical techniques used to diagnose and treat joint issues.Provided with a deep appreciation for the precision and skill required in orthopaedic surgery and the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration to achieve optimal outcomes.

Promotes UT146 initiatives amongst other first-year students e.g. promoting events/recruitment efforts on first and second-year community forums to raise awareness against sex trafficking and fundraise for the parent organization, LOVE146, at the University of Toronto.

The Office of Research Trainees at UHN offers students a chance to engage in a summer research project under the supervision of a UHN scientist. UHN Summer Research students also have the opportunity to share their summer research with the UHN research community through an in-person poster session.

Accepted into the Research Shadowing Program through the Temerty Faculty of Medicine as a mentee. Paired with a PhD Candidate affiliated with the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology and the Tanz Centre for Research in Neurodegenerative Diseases at the Krembil Research Institute. Provided the opportunity to participate in group shadowing, tour the laboratory, and gain exposure to lab methods.

Developed school-wide events within the St. Augustine Catholic School community to foster healthy-active living and spirit through various initiatives, activities, and events.Initiated monthly intramural events, including volleyball, basketball, badminton, ping-pong, and soccer for students to participate in. Organized and led the fundraising of $11,000 for the Terry Fox Foundation for cancer research as part of the annual Terry Fox Run.
