Greensboro, Ga

Served as Lake Oconee's first Executive Director of Tourism and created processes and procedures with assistance from the Georgia Department of Economic Development's regulation boards and committees as well as local areas tax collection agencies. Worked with tax regulation boards and auditors to ensure tax funds were being properly expended and recorded. Also, worked with local area partners to provide marketing and partnership for luxury hospitality for The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Oconee, Reynolds Lake Oconee and Harbor Club.Accomplishments:- Produced monthly reports and year end reports. Coordinated with Georgia Department of Economic Development to create standards of evaluating successful marketing campaigns, analysis of partnerships, determining estimated tourism footprint and overall measurement of economic impact of tourism to the Lake Oconee area.- Coordinated with other convention and visitor bureaus, visitor centers, chambers of commerce, trade associations, and groups promoting tourism in Georgia. Also, served on several boards for the Lake Oconee area on behalf of Lake Oconee Tourism.- Participated in co-op organizations such as Classic South Travel Association (CSTA) and Georgia’s Lake Country (GLC) and serve as representation on local boards and associations on behalf of tourism.
