Lauren is a multi-disciplined business strategist specializing in brand positioning and marketing communications in the consumer lifestyle category. She has nearly two decades of experience launching new products and companies, creating teams, developing business plans, analyzing data, directing content creation, establishing partnerships, and identifying and executing opportunities for growth and global brand awareness.She spent nearly a decade working for the world’s leading auction house, Christie’s, where she grew from intern to Vice President, Business Development, Americas within five years. Lauren was trusted to handle the most high-touch fine art consignors, buyers, public figures, and luxury brand partners in her role. Under Francois Pinault’s Artemis Group/Kering umbrella, Lauren worked closely with other directors and executives within the portfolio to create cohesion with sibling brands like Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, and others on shared brand and client development initiatives. She oversaw the execution of major philanthropic projects in collaboration with The Leonardo Dicaprio Foundation, Oceana, Central Park Conservancy, NRDC, The Rockefeller Foundation, The Melanoma Research Foundation, The Brant Foundation, and many others.After Christie’s, Lauren moved to the West Coast, where she worked in a highly operational role to grow a tech platform, which was later sold to Expedia Group. From there, she built commercial infrastructures for nascent luxury brands like Onefinestay, an Accor Hotel Group concept, and Gavin de Becker’s The Private Suite at LAX (PS). Lauren established travel consortium partnerships with global revenue drivers like American Express in both roles, creating remunerative growth and relevance within the travel space. She oversaw all things commercial, including marketing, sales, PR, new business initiatives, brand affiliations, and digital and creative strategies, closely working with stakeholders to maintain cohesion throughout all operational facets of the businesses, reporting to TPG quarterly.In 2020, Lauren moved to Dallas and executed expansion strategies for Vandelay Hospitality Group, a rapidly growing F&B company with beloved Texas concepts.
