Ever since I can remember, I've had a passion for finding bright, creative people to work with and an urge to create. You might know me as the co-creator of the "Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego" game series. While I'm proud of that, what truly excited me was diving into new technology to design something groundbreaking, helping to kickstart the edutainment genre. Collaborating with a team that included a Disney animator, a teenage computer genius, and a book enthusiast taught me the magic of mixing different talents and perspectives to innovate.Every project I've tackled, from developing over 20 games to starting and funding companies, designing homes, and creating art, has been driven by my desire to explore new ideas and blend technology with design to make people smile. A good design isn't just about the technology behind it; it's about the joy and recognition it brings to others.Growing up, I was fortunate to know my great aunt, Eleanor Roosevelt, and to meet presidents, politicians, and renowned scientists and artists. Their passion and curiosity about everything in the world inspired me deeply.This early inspiration set the stage for a career defined by creativity and technology. From co-creating best-selling game series to founding innovative companies like Dream Zero and Elliott Portwood Productions, I was and still am constantly on a mission to create something new.I'm now immersed in a new game project that leverages the latest AI technology to build virtual replicas of players based on their memories. It's an entirely new concept with the potential to be both educational and entertaining.
