Below are the key responsibilties in my role as a track and field coach:- Communicate clear and consistent instruction to more than 75 diverse students in practice and competition, providing constructive feedback for maximum individual performance.- Throughout coaching career, produced 75+ all-state distinctions in a highly competitive class (including a team championship), training athletes in technical track events using positive reinforcement and motivational methods.

Any job has major highlights, below are a sampling of my responsibilities at Mizzou Athletics:- Supported the mission of Mizzou Athletics through the development and implementation of monthly newsletters, mailers, talking points, backgrounders, pitch material, and engagement and solicitation communications.- Generated social media content for the organization, tracking metrics using Facebook Studio and TweetDeck, while developing ways to increase viewer traffic and engagement; ensured the organizations websites are up to date.- Drafted campaign materials, brochures, event invitations and other official documents using the Adobe Suite, Canva and Eventbrite, remaining mindful of brand standards.- Introduced the Letterwinners Clubs to new audiences, growing membership and engagement by hosting events and communicating the impact the organization can have in both recruiting student-athletes and the transformative effect it can have on the lives of alumni.- Worked with outside vendors to plan and execute events and communications, while keeping organized and meticulous records of membership databases and lists of organization partners.- Oversaw Mizzou Athletics' alumni student-athlete organization's volunteer board, assisting in the development and implementation of former student-athlete-led initiatives. - Researched best practices around the Power Five conferences to improve the fan experience for Mizzou Athletics.

You learn a lot about yourself living and working in a foreign country. Below are some of the takeaways I returned to the States with after teaching in France: - Taught language and Anglophone culture to 18 classes in four French public primary schools, whilst navigating cultural and language barriers to build positive relationships with the staff and students at each school.- Planned and organized individualized daily lessons with each teacher for classes of 25 students, aged six to ten, often discussing ways to refine teaching techniques.- Crafted individualized techniques to educate students on language and culture in dynamic ways to increase engagement and improve English proficiency.- Prepared backup lessons to make sure each day’s classes were meaningful, regardless of changes in the schedule.

Here are some the highlights of my position as a research assistant:- Recruited and ran experiments on over 200 participants in a media laboratory environment, educating said participants on their involvement and making them feel comfortable as I placed sensors on their face and arms to measure facial EMG, heart rate and skin conductance. - Completed research that would further understanding on five published projects through databases and campus libraries, including studies on autism, reactions to media and the NIH. - Organized bi-weekly meetings with professors and staff to provide status updates on current projects while delegating responsibilities to complete published papers.

Here is a brief overview of my time as a research assistant:- Completed research assignments to be utilized in scholarly works produced by Journalism and Law Professor Sandy Davidson, meeting regularly to discuss her various needs.

Here is a brief description of my work in this role: - Collected and deciphered research on over 2,000 members regarding effective media tactics used in the church, then developed a communication plan involving social and digital media that was implemented by staff to better serve the congregation's communications needs. - Utilized Adobe Creative Suite skills by designing materials to be displayed and sent throughout the church through mailers, flyers and bulletins.

Throughout the summer of 2014, I acted as Junior Copywriter at Moosylvania. Here are my takeaways:- Created social media content for client campaigns and promotions which matched brand voice, resulting in increased fan engagement. - Juggled projects for twelve different clients, remaining punctual on daily, weekly and monthly deadlines. - Developed a three month content calendar, product names for client promotions and Tumblr content for Moosylvania's page. - Headed a project improving headlines and body copy for the website of a sporting company, meeting with clients to effectively complete their rebranding.

In my first creative internship, my work included the following:- Rebranded the office "Fun Committee" newsletter and avatar, sharpening my knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and the advertising world.- Worked with the creative team to develop content for eight different clients.

As a Success Center employee, the following were my responsibilities and takeaways:- Increased multitasking and communication skills by providing information to visitors of the Student Success Center, and recruited prospective students to the University of Missouri by leading tours of the facility to over 2,000 people.
