I am a data-driven leader with a passion for problem solving and mentoring. I am a lifelong student of Lean principles, and I believe the simplest solutions are often the best.In a previous organization, the factory was operating at max capacity and in the process of sourcing new equipment. My team was able to optimize the product design, eliminate waste, and increase efficiency by 14%, saving the company more than $1 million. In another role, my team was commissioned by one of the richest people in the world to bring a very specific product design to life, which required bringing in new manufacturing capabilities, and my team made it happen. How did we do it? We started by "going to genba" and understanding the needs of all customers in the value stream, then finding creative solutions, eliminating waste, selling our ideas, and making data-driven decisions.I believe knowing how to interpret data is equally as important as knowing how to communicate that data. I frequently receive feedback that I possess the strength of data visualization, which sells the idea and drives decisions.I am a unique leader; my engineering background taught me how to solve problems, and I now advocate for making "the best business decision" in all situations. This has driven me to explore other areas of business such as supply chain, human resources, marketing, and many others. I am a passionate student of Lean, and I believe these principles should not be limited to the production floor but rather be applied to all aspects of business. I do not believe in living in a silo, but rather having a well-rounded view of the business.Mindset is key. My teams often hear me say "get your daily win".
