I am an accomplished non-profit professional and photographer working with start-ups, non-profits and individual clients. I obtained my Masters in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University, and my Professional Photography Certificate from Boston University. My creative eye paired with my background within non-profits in the areas of fundraising and research give me valuable insight into how to tell compelling stories that convey the importance of a non-profit’s mission and work to it’s donors. Not only do I know how to photograph and write compelling stories, I also understand the cross-cultural barriers associated with project management and implementation. I currently hold several positions. I am sole proprietor at Lauren Gaw Photography, where I tailor my photography services to the needs of non-profits, corporations and individuals. I am also the Program Manager for Project Exchange Nicaragua. In this role I fundraise for medical mission trips, plan meetings, arrange travel and logistics and develop strategic partnerships with related non-profits. I am an AmeriCorps Alumnus and co-founder of Project Exchange Nicaragua.
