I graduated from Saint Louis University and received my BSN in May 2021.Prior to becoming a RN, I worked as a Student Nurse Technician for a year which gave me substantial opportunities to work with patients and the healthcare team and better my critical thinking and leadership skills. I better these skills by monitoring patients closely and then conveying important patient information to the nurse. In addition, thanks to my preceptorship experience, I improved my time management, communication, and assessment skills. For several weeks, I had the opportunity to collaborate with a nurse to learn how efficiently problem solve and prioritize patient needs.I used those skills I learned to help me become a Registered Nurse. I started my first nursing job in the PICU at Riley’s Children Hospital in September of 2021. As an organized, passionate, and empathetic nurse, I strive to always deliver the highest quality care possible to all patients.
