Throughout her professional career, Lauren has applied her passion for helping people to achieve their goals to live their fullest life possible. Midway into her career, Lauren pivoted to real estate in search of a life off the computer and into real life relationships and communities. Home is the center of our community, and recent events have underscored how important our home life is to our quality of life.Helping communities has long been a central value in Lauren’s life. She started her career in DC, where she worked on Capitol Hill and later as an advocate and lobbyist for evidence-based education reform. After relocating to Colorado in 2012, Lauren pivoted her persuasion skills to become a successful marketing and community engagement consultant in the nonprofit sector and the burgeoning cannabis industry. Lauren is an active member of her community, on the leadership team for Sustainable Green Mountain, a community group supported by the Lakewood local government. She enjoys gardening and crafting sustainable landscaping that invites pollinators to her neighborhood. Along with her rescue dog Griz, she enjoys exploring new neighborhoods on foot. Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Lauren attended Albright College, and graduated with a degree in Political Science and Philosophy. She holds a Masters degree from George Washington University in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management. Lauren is the Founder and Chief Curator of Grounded by Plants, an in-home plantscaping service.
