About Lauren Goebertus

Working with educators and students is my passion in life. I have been an educator for over nine years, initially teaching in Atlanta, Georgia and then in Shanghai, China. Most recently, my expertise has focused on English language learners and literacy. After teaching at the Shanghai Singapore International School, I decided to dedicate my career to assisting educators in innovative ways to teach ELL students.Currently, I am pursuing a master’s degree at Lesley University in Language and Literacy while looking to transition into a new career in education outside of the classroom.I’ve worn many hats in my career: accreditation coordinator, curriculum leader, program director, and teacher. As a result, I have an ability to manage several projects and adapt to different roles. All of these experiences have shown me that -I listen to people and communicate ideas effectively.-I strive to lead a team. -Teambuilding and collaboration is what makes a company successful.-I seek challenges.-I do well under pressure. -My passion is education as well as discovering new places.With my global experiences, positive attitude, and knowledge, I would make an asset to any company.
