Lauren is a legal director in the corporate division at Morton Fraser Macroberts LLP and works in the firm's banking and finance team.Lauren acts for banks, financial institutions and borrowers on all types of debt transactions throughout the UK, with particular emphasis on corporate debt, distressed debt (including portfolio acquisition and sale, restructuring and compromises), real estate and social housing finance. Lauren also regularly advises mainstream funders and asset financiers on asset and invoice finance transactions and is often involved in the drafting and negotiation of leasing and security documentation both north and south of the border.Lauren regularly assists and advises English and overseas lawyers on the Scottish aspects of cross border and international finance transactions and also has experience in growth finance, asset based lending and local authority finance.
