• Launched network-wide Transitional Kindergarten programming and curriculum, scaling from two to eleven classrooms, across three schools, serving approximately 270 scholars. Designed and led weekly 60-minute and monthly 120-minute network-wide professional development on instructional best practices, assessments and scholar culture. Coached school leaders weekly on supporting their team’s implementation of programming.• Managed two first-year Principals to ensure curriculum fidelity, compliance-based reporting, school-wide culture systems, and solutions-focused best practices. • Led three Special Education teams across the network in compliance-based tasks and teaching strategies to ensure that all scholars received timely, appropriate, and effective instruction. Led a first-year school through a state audit resulting in no significant findings or corrective actions. • Managed the network-wide remote instruction program serving 120 scholars, Transitional Kindergarten through fourth grade, including curriculum, teaching and learning supplies, family communications, assessments, and special events. Coached seven teachers and one Administrator to support implementation of programming.

Founded Impact | Salish Sea Elementary as a part of Impact Public Schools, the highest achieving charter school network in Washington State. Oversaw all components of the academic and social emotional model, family engagement, and faculty and scholar culture. In addition, managed facilities, materials acquisition, enrollment, and budgeting. • Provided direct weekly coaching for twelve site-based faculty to support academic and social-emotional learning. • Oversaw execution of COVID-related implications on remote learning, curriculum adaptation, and school-wide culture. Average daily attendance was 93% with all scholars having full access to Chromebooks, Wi-Fi, and learning supplies on the first day of school.

• Established annual school-wide priorities to increase student achievement; each year, over 80% of students achieved or exceeded grade-level expectations in literacy and math. • Cultivated leadership skills among school-leadership team through bi-weekly meetings, targeting school-wide initiatives such as parent involvement and school-culture norms. • Strategic thought partner for regional leadership team regarding school-based implementation of network-wide priorities. • Launched school-wide adoption of Conscious Discipline, a brain-science based social-emotional curriculum. As a result, student office referrals decreased by two-thirds in a three-month period. • Each year, provided coaching and professional development to a cohort of over 30 incoming KIPP principals nationwide to guide their transition into school leadership. • Achieved Tier 1 status on DC Public Charter School Board’s school rating system for four consecutive years based on student achievement, classroom culture, and student attendance.

• Led school-wide implementation of the Tools of the Mind curriculum. After three years, curriculum was adopted network-wide for over 1,000 students. Provided guidance and resources to school and district leaders to inform roll-out across remaining four schools. • Leveraged weekly individual coaching sessions and team meetings to strengthen teacher knowledge and skills regarding instruction and classroom management.• Co-led a bi-weekly certification course for 30+ Capital Teaching Residents focusing on standards-based instruction and classroom management skills.
