Through the North Carolina Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA program, I served for a year on the campus of my alma mater, Warren Wilson College, in our Service Learning Office. I organized and led alternative service break trips in the Fall and Spring, coordinated our tutoring/mentoring partnerships year-round, and provided student mentorship and program support.

I volunteered part-time with WUIS/WIPA compiling listener survey data, sending donor appreciation gifts, recording local newspaper articles for the blind, and writing an article on the importance of public radio for the opinion page of the State Journal-Register.
