I am so elated to have the opportunity to instruct agricultural communications and agricultural leadership courses at my alma mater. I will also be assisting in curriculum development for an agricultural communications program here at OSU. Along with instructing, I am also helping my academic department in recruitment efforts and marketing. Go Beavs!

I am a graduate research assistant for Texas Tech's Texas Alliance for Water Conservation, which is dedicated to helping West Texas farmers and ranchers conserve water for future generations. I assist with communications, marketing materials, and outreach events. I am very proud to work for an organization that is producer-led and for one that is dedicated to preserving land and resources for future generations of agriculturalists.

I worked closely with the Leadership Academy Coordinator, Faculty, and Director. I handled communications, social networking, marketing materials, and other administrative tasks assigned. I also was in charge of coordinating our guest speakers for our students and recruitment for the next year's cohort. I handled alumni relations and also worked with students directly to better enhance their personal development plans.

I advocate for the rice industry by creating and composing written & video blogs for the California Rice Commission.

I interned for the California Rice Commission, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the rice industry and growers. This summer I worked with staff members in the areas of environmental affairs, regulatory affairs, communications, and management. This internship really opened up my eyes to the importance of proper communications in organizations and validated my passion for agricultural communications. I was the agricultural communications intern at Oregon Cattlemen's Association where I assisted with internal and external communications, as well as social media and website updates. I helped advocate for the cattle industry at events and through online posts. I also crafted two press releases for OCA and worked directly with our sponsors. Oregon Cattlemen's Association aims to advance the economic, political, and social interests of the Oregon cattle industry.
