While completing my MFA, I worked as the program assistant for the department. I handledadministrative tasks, interfacing with students, faculty, and staff to respond to queries and providesupport. I also planned 5 events each trimester for the two cohorts within the program. This entailedmapping out a calendar of events, liaising with different university departments to secure space andequipment, and facilitating logistics during the events.The program also ran its own equipment rental studio, and I managed and tracked all orders, preparedgear packages for students, and set up cameras, lights, and other equipment.

I directed and produced multiple professional projects for the university while completing my degree. Iwas hired by the study abroad office to shoot and edit 5 promo videos for the SHU in Dingle studyabroad program in Ireland, and I also conceptualized, pitched, directed, and produced a promo video forthe Film and TV Master’s Program. In addition, I teamed up with the other students in my cohort to produce commercials for ExceptionalSidekicks, a local non-profit that provides service and therapy dogs to individuals who need them.Through the organization’s partnership with Sacred Heart, I pitched two ideas that were both selectedfor production, and I directed them, leading my classmates to finalize the projects.

CT SPORTS NOW is a sports news show that covers local high school sports and is produced by SacredHeart graduate students. I was hired as an intern during my undergraduate studies and served as technical director for the show, which aired live 5 days a week. I monitored 5 screens in the control room to select feeds and cued graphic cards.

As an intern on this daytime talk series, I supported production – I was often assigned to thewardrobe department, where I provided show guests with outfits, collected all items after tapings, andfacilitated runs.
