I am a Textile Designer on the Product Development team at Surya. My responsibilities include designing CADS (prints and patterns) for rugs, pillows, poufs, and throws that are sold to major retailers across the United States. I research the hottest trends in pattern and color to ensure that Surya's line is complete with options to feed any/every brand. I design social media posts for Surya's online marketing efforts including Pinterest and Facebook as well as Visual Display for markets such as Atlanta and High Point. I am a Pattern Designer, Colorist, CAD Designer, Illustrator, and Textile Designer.

I design apparel and promotional products for sororities, churches, and businesses all over the South East. I have enjoyed interviewing freelance artists and managing artists. I also delegate communication between Account Managers, Freelance Artists, Printers, and Customers. I coordinate and tweak systems to increase efficiency, productivity, and communication between departments. Assisting our Marketing Coordinator with our first Photoshoot was a pleasure. We enjoyed creating sets, working with models, and catapulting ideas off one another. It was also a pleasure to provide creative feedback during the 2010 catalog launch of Geneologie, our collegiate branch.

I created a collection of greeting cards for Valentine's Day. They were illustration-based and I had so much fun working on the concept.

I held a brief internship with The Creative Edge in downtown Spartanburg, SC. I shadowed graphic work for various brochures and school campaigns and participated in constructive feedback.

I worked as a full-time nanny for six children while putting myself through school. My responsibilities including looking after the one year old children during the morning, doing laundry, fixing meals, and playing with the children during the afternoon.
