The BT Better Workplace Programme is the UK's largest office transformation project designed to enable new ways of working. I led the colleague change and engagement experience for colleagues based in two of our strategic locations – London and Bristol. • Designed and delivered an engagement plan for c10,000 colleagues in scope of the programme• Supported high profile and complex relocations including the move into the new London BT HQ • Developed the Better Workplace change & engagement blue-print strategy, bringing in new methods and tools to create a 2-way change journey for colleagues • Managed stakeholders across a dynamic organisational structure including at ExCo and programme sponsor level• Facilitated new ways of working that support our desired BT culture • Produced creative internal communications, and hosted large-scale events

As an Employee Experience Strategist, I developed and executed culture and engagement strategies for global organisations. My purpose was simple; to create workplaces where everyone could be at their best. Highlights:Culture change- Defined the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) for BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions and embedded it into every aspect of the employee journey, from hire to retire.- This long-term cultural change programme achieved 1.2% lower employee turnover and 12% above average employee engagement. What’s more, 100% of recruiters said the EVP helped attract the right talent and 100% of employees said the EVP truly reflects their culture.Values and behaviours - Developed and executed a brand-new range of values and behaviours for the Met Office to better reflect their culture.- To uncover core beliefs that were truly authentic, purpose-led and fit for the future, I designed a values definition model.- The values were embedded at every stage of the hire to retire journey. Change communications - Led multiple employee engagement strategies for large scale transformation projects. - Created a change communications best practice model for BP to upskill their in house communicators. This resulted in a consistent approach to change communications for their 73,000 employees. Internal communications and engagement strategy - Consulted with a range of internal communications and employee engagement teams to help them set their strategic approach in line with business objectives and their employee wants and needs.

As Sustainability Engagement Manager at Unite Students I designed and delivered a nationwide employee and customer behavioural change and engagement programme. This work enabled a step change in behaviour across the business which achieved a 14% reduction in organisational energy consumption. This programme won the 2017 Energy Award for employee engagement and was recognised in the Edie 2019 Sustainability Leaders Awards. Edie called the programme "innovative and sector-leading... addressing a wide range of sustainability themes and building significant engagement with employees and customers on issues including energy and carbon."Highlights:- Designed and delivered the 'Up to uS' sustainability engagement programme for 50,000 students and 2,000 employees. Up to uS enabled a step change in behaviour resulting in a 14% reduction in organisational energy consumption, saving on average £2 million a year. - Established a charitable partnership with the British Heart Foundation raising £272,700 for the charity. - Managed a team of two.- Shortlisted for Manager of the Year.- Developed a network of 150 employee champions and 150 student customer influencers based across 25 cities.- Created and delivered a supporting sustainability communications plan across internal and external channels to build engagement and increase reputation.

As Internal Sustainability Communications Specialist I was responsible for planning the strategic direction of client engagement communications programmes and delivering a series of imaginative campaigns focused on sustainable business and CSR. As part of this I worked for a range of global brands including Skanska, Morgan Sindall Group, Jewson and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.
