Reporting to the Manager of Child Safety Oversight and Practice Development, the Practice Analyst plays a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships, supporting systemic oversight, and enhancing practice across the organization. This work empowers ministry staff to deliver service excellence and achieve meaningful outcomes for children, youth, families, and communities.The Child Safety Oversight and Practice Development (CSOPD) Branch, established in 2024, focuses on continuous practice improvement to ensure the safety, well-being, and regular support of children and youth across BC, particularly those who are most vulnerable. The branch is part of the Office of the Provincial Director and Aboriginal Services Division and collaborates closely with Designated Directors, delegated practitioners, and external partners to strengthen the ministry’s monitoring and oversight functions.Through these efforts, the CSOPD Branch aims to create an environment where children and youth feel safe, supported, and connected, enabling them to thrive within their communities.
