Direct assistant to the owner of the firm. Responsibilities included: • Drafting of floor plans and furniture plans.• Creating tile designs for kitchens and bathrooms. • Designing and rendering custom window treatments. • Conducting site visits and taking field measurements. • Selecting materials, furniture and fixtures.• Maintaining finish, material and lighting schedules. • Assembling client presentations and proposals. • Compiling estimates and totaling job costs. • Delivering merchandise and working with installers.

As the Financial Assistant for one of the largest showrooms in the Boston Design Center, I was responsible for: • Processing all of the showroom’s orders. • Handling the distribution of sales commissions. • Managing accounts payable and receivable. • Creating signage and marketing materials. • Coordinating events, including the interior design exhibits at the 2006 & 2007 New England Flower Show.
